Elizabeth convinced me to sign up for the AEP 5k on Memorial Day weekend. I actually thought that I would be ready to run it when it came around. HA. Elizabeth was very patient and didn't leave me even though I'm sure her half marathon runnin self could have easily! We ended up running more than I thought I would be able to! We weren't the last to finish, close but not last! It took a little over 43 minutes... I'm scared to say it but I might be hooked and next year I fully expect us to finish in 30 minutes or less! And best part of the race? The adorable fan that came to cheer us on!
