So it's the end of the year and teaching in my classroom is, well, non existent. (Unless you are Judy reading this and in that case they are totally engaged every second!)
Today I split all the kids up into pairs (of their own choosing) and gave them a sheet of paper and they were to write a sentence about what they liked about 1st grade and then draw a picture of that thing. I was sitting at my desk and all of a sudden I hear Zachary say to Gabe "that is totally not going to work on me!" I look up to see what he was talking about and I saw this: Gabe was making a pouty face because he wanted to color in the picture and so did Zachary... I guess he was trying to use his power of persuassion but Zachary was quick to tell him that would not work on HIM!
